Hello!

I'm Jocelyn Elderkin, MA, LMFT, PMH-C

Originally from Arizona, I‘ve been living in Seattle since 2008. I received a BA from Northern Arizona University in Women’s Studies in 2005 and a MA from Antioch University in Applied Psychology with a Marriage and Family Therapy specialization in 2012. I have over 12 years of clinical experience, I am a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator, and I truly enjoy this work.
As a mama myself, I understand the struggles, challenges, and great responsibility of trying to balance parenting, family, work, your own time, and everything in-between! It’s hard. I get it. And sometimes in the mix of all that chaos it’s challenging to carve out time and moments for ourselves. Sometimes we just need someone to hear us, see us, meet us where we are, and help create a plan to experience less chaos and more joy more often.

My wisdom comes from my experiences with the variety of clients and issues I have worked with over the years, as well as my own personal experiences throughout the years that have contributed to my understanding of myself and human beings. I truly believe in this work and have experienced firsthand the benefits a positive therapeutic relationship can help bring about. I consider it an honor to sit with you, hear your stories, and help you realize and illuminate your inner-strengths.
